Android version of an web based ERP

The ERP is dedicated for the small and medium size Romanian companies and has the following features:

• stock optimisation
• the effectiveness of the delivery routes
• the fast launching of new products on the market and the reduction of costs by improved negociations with the providers

This solution is used as a collaboration and coordination platform with the providers, business partners and customers.

Android version is a more light version of the web based ERP and comprises the following modules:

• management
• billing
• customers' orders
• providers' orders
• sales assistant
• reporting

The application was developped on the Android 2.2 platform and was implemented in such a way that it could properly function also on tablets and smartphones that run the Android platform.

The application works in online and offline mode and for the offline mode it has been made use of a Sqlite database for data storage.
When an internet connection is available, all the collected data is synchronized with the main SQL server through an API, via HTTP.

The application is designed and optimized for performance and is capable of working with huge amount of data. The database comprises thousands of users and products and is capable of instant answering to orders.
