{"id":7048,"date":"2022-09-21T16:01:34","date_gmt":"2022-09-21T13:01:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.roweb.ro\/blog\/?p=7048"},"modified":"2023-07-05T14:48:14","modified_gmt":"2023-07-05T11:48:14","slug":"roweb-attents-gpec-autumn-edition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.roweb.ro\/blog\/roweb-attents-gpec-autumn-edition\/","title":{"rendered":"<b>Roweb @GPeC &#8211; autumn edition, 2022 <\/b>| Event dedicated to the Romanian eCommerce community"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"suits\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"538\" src=\"https:\/\/www.roweb.ro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/en-featured-img-1024x538.png\" alt=\"Roweb at the eCommerce event GPeC\" class=\"wp-image-7050 simple-no-border\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.roweb.ro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/en-featured-img-1024x538.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.roweb.ro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/en-featured-img-300x158.png 300w, https:\/\/www.roweb.ro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/en-featured-img-624x328.png 624w, https:\/\/www.roweb.ro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/en-featured-img.png 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n    <p>\n        With rapid steps, we are approaching the second edition of GPeC 2022 &#8211;\n        the autumn summit, which will also take place at the National Theater in\n        Bucharest.&nbsp;\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>\n        More precisely, on September 26, we will meet at one of the most\n        important eCommerce events in Romania:\n    <\/p>\n\n    <ul class=\"blue-checkbox\">\n        <li>\n            &nbsp;to discuss with a passionate eCommerce community the trends in\n            the field,&nbsp;\n        <\/li>\n        <li>\n            to help entrepreneurs improve the shopping experience for their\n            customers;&nbsp;\n        <\/li>\n        <li>\n            to find new ways to capture customers&#8217; attention in a highly\n            competitive industry.&nbsp;\n        <\/li>\n    <\/ul>\n\n    <p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n    <h2 class=\"header-with-badget\">\n        What is new at GPeC 2022 &#8211; the autumn edition?\n    <\/h2>\n\n    <p>\n        As with the May edition, GPeC means <strong>a conference<\/strong> with\n        important names from the industry (Luke Carthy &#8211; Growth eCommerce Expert\n        and Sam Tomlinson &#8211; Digital Expert, StartUp Advisor &amp; Investor are\n        just a few examples), <strong>an exhibition<\/strong> (in which we will\n        also participate with the Roweb stand), <strong>networking<\/strong> and\n        <strong>a party.<\/strong>\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>\n        However, unlike the previous edition, the one on September 26 will also\n        take place at the Romanian Electronic Commerce Awards Ceremony (GPeC\n        Awards Gala) &#8211; a traditional event, now in its 17th edition.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>\n        In the previous editions, projects from the Roweb portfolio were awarded\n        within this event.&nbsp;\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>\n        It is about\n        <a href=\"\/omac-website-optimization-migration-magento2.html\">O&#8217;Mac<\/a>\n        &#8211; a supplier of home, garden, agriculture, and forest equipment and\n        tools &#8211; and which in 2015 was designated at GPeC as having the best\n        e-commerce website in the section dedicated to its industry.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>\n        Also, in 2010, the Organik.ro project was nominated in the &#8220;Health and\n        Beauty&#8221; category, where it managed to take third place, and in the\n        &#8220;User&#8217;s Choice&#8221; category, where it also ranked third.\n    <\/p>\n    <p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n    <h2 class=\"header-with-badget\">\n        Some projects from the portfolio that we will discuss at the Roweb stand\n    <\/h2>\n\n    <p>\n        &#8220;Teach by example&#8221; &#8211; not just simple words, but also a principle that\n        suits us. The best way to show our experience is through the projects we\n        have collected\n        <a href=\"\/portfolio\/web-development\/e-commerce\">in our portfolio <\/a>and\n        the\n        <a href=\"\/blog\/roweb-clients-opinions\/\">feedback we receive from our clients<\/a>.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>\n        Thus, at this GPeC edition, we will talk about Roweb&#8217;s customized\n        solutions: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.searchency.net\/\">Searchency<\/a> &#8211; an\n        intelligent search system that increases the conversion rate by 43% and\n        <a href=\"https:\/\/horeka.ro\/\">Horeka<\/a> &#8211; a complete solution for owners\n        of restaurants, hotels &amp; catering companies.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>\n        Moreover, we will also present some projects from our eCommerce\n        portfolio:\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>\n        <a href=\"\/porsche-bank.html\">Porsche Finance Group Romania<\/a>\n        &#8211; for which we developed a complete eCommerce solution using Magento 2,\n        whose role is facilitating the sale of cars and financing, insurance,\n        and maintenance services.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>\n        <a href=\"\/magento-development-bookcity.html\">Bookcity<\/a>\n        &#8211; a chain of bookstores for which we ensured the migration to Magento 2\n        and a series of new functionalities that allowed the focus to be shifted\n        to improving the sales process and the customer journey (from the first\n        interaction with the product to the purchase).\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n    <h2 class=\"header-with-badget\">\n        And we have a surprise for those who will visit our stand\u2026\n    <\/h2>\n\n    <p>\n        All those visiting the Roweb stand will have the opportunity to register\n        in a raffle through which they can win services worth 500 Euros.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>\n        More precisely, we will allow the winners to choose a service offered by\n        our teams, depending on the industry they belong to and the needs of the\n        eCommerce platform they own or intend to develop.\n    <\/p>\n    <p>\n        For example, if the winner comes from the Horeca industry, he can opt\n        for our application&#8217;s demo version. In addition, he can opt for a\n        technical advisory service if he has an online store, such as a platform\n        with organic products.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n    <h2 class=\"header-with-badget\">About our eCommerce team:<\/h2>\n\n    <p>\n        The Roweb eCommerce team had a year full of events and activities. In\n        addition to the launch of new projects (which we will discuss soon on\n        the blog), 2022 meant participation in the spring edition of GPeC and\n        ecomTeam Brasov.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>\n        The philosophy of the department is\n        <a href=\"\/careers\">oriented towards growth<\/a>. And this year, the\n        strategy is channeled towards diversifying the client portfolio,\n        reaching new industries and market niches, whose software solutions will\n        have greater complexity than a simple online store.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>\n        Currently, the team means 15 software developers, most of them with\n        middle &amp; senior experience.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>\n        &#8220;Roweb maintains its interest in the eCommerce area.
