Roweb at MWC Barcelona 2026<\/h2>\n

The first week of March took our team to MWC Barcelona 2026\u201a one of the world’s largest trade shows for the tech sector\u2024 The event brings together companies from across the global tech industry, from telecom operators and infrastructure providers to software companies, startups and investors.<\/p>\n

For a few days\u201a Barcelona is the world center for much of the technology ecosystem\u201a with exhibition halls full of products\u201a demos\u201a and companies meeting\u2024 Exhibition halls are full of product demonstrations and conversations between companies, while the conference program focuses on how digital technologies are changing the way businesses operate.<\/p>\n

What people were talking about this year<\/h2>\n

Artificial intelligence was probably the most visible topic throughout the event. Many of the companies present showed how AI is gradually becoming part of everyday software products, especially in areas such as automation, analytics and customer-facing tools.<\/p>\n

Connectivity was another focus\u201a and since the event’s origin as a mobile-focused event\u201a 5G and other future networks were a common topic\u2024 This year\u201a however\u201a the emphasis was less on the technology itself\u201a and more on the services and applications that will be possible with better connectivity\u2024<\/p>\n

There were also many discussions around cloud platforms, cybersecurity and edge computing, which increasingly form the infrastructure behind modern digital services.<\/p>\n

The Romania Pavilion<\/h2>\n

Roweb attended the event inside the Romania Pavilion\u201a along with other Romanian technology companies\u2024 The Romania Pavilion was a point of interest for the event visitors who were interested in the Romanian software development ecosystem\u2024<\/p>\n

During this time\u201a the pavilion was visited by the Consul of Romania\u201a who stopped to visit the companies and to inquire about their activity and international collaboration\u2024<\/p>\n

Meeting partners<\/h2>\n

Often\u201a these industry events are less about what you see\u201a and more about who you see\u2024<\/p>\n

The Roweb team was happy to have the chance to meet again face to face with a few of our clients. It was a good opportunity to exchange information\u201a update on our partnership and opportunities for collaboration in the near future\u2024<\/p>\n

These types of conversations are often the most valuable outcome of events like Mobile World Congress. They give partners the chance to meet face to face, something that is still surprisingly important even in an industry built on digital communication.<\/p>\n

With thousands of companies present and visitors arriving from all over the world, MWC Barcelona continues to be one of the main meeting places for the international technology community.<\/p>\n

For the Roweb team, the event offered a chance to see what other companies are building, reconnect with partners and spend a few days immersed in the broader technology ecosystem. Conversations started here will likely continue long after the event itself has ended.<\/p>\n
