OUR CLIENT

Our client is the University of Pitesti, established in 1991, with a staff of over 700 and approximately 12,000 students each year.

The Natural Science Department of the Faculty of Sciences, Physical Education and Informatics publishes an open-access peer-reviewed international journal, Current Trends in Natural Sciences (CTNS).

CTNS publishes articles in: biology, ecology and environmental protection, soil science, land measurements and land improvements, horticulture (fruit growing, viticulture, vegetable growing, floriculture), articles that promote the findings of interdisciplinary research in natural sciences. The Journal also aims to facilitate and enhance communication across all the sub-disciplines of the natural sciences.

PROJECT SCOPE

Before our collaboration, all of the articles were being uploaded to a section of the University’s website, so it wasn’t easy to access or promote, it wasn’t searchable or optimized for search engines.

Our client needed a modern, responsive website, optimized for search engines, that would help promote Current Trends in Natural Sciences on an international level. They also needed 2 microsites within the main website, one dedicated to the “Current Trends in Natural Sciences” Scientific Conference and the other one dedicated to the Romanian Pteridology Association.

IDENTITY

We started with visual identity by designing their new logo and a template for the journal’s cover.
