PRODUCT GOAL

Teeny Cool is an app dedicated to parents who want to be able to check on their children while they’re at the kindergarten. The parents can monitor their children’s mood, if they have slept or eaten and receive any important notifications.

TECHNOLOGY

iOS

The iOS app was developed using Objective C, and the development target is 10.0. Libraries used:

• AFNetworking for API requests
• Firebase for crash reporting and for notifications
• Google Sign In
• Facebook Sign In
• PEPhotoCropEditor for cropping images

Android

The Android app was developed using Android SDK, and the minimum version on which the app works is Android 5.0 (Lollipop).

Libraries used:

• for notifications, crash reports and application stats: Firebase
• for REST API calls: Retrofit
• for loading images: Glide
• for login with a google account: Google Play Services Auth
• for login with a facebook account: Facebook Android SDK
• for cropping images: Android Image Cropper

PROJECT STATS

• 2 weeks and 2 days development time for the iOS app
• 3 weeks development time for the Android app
• Project team: 3 developers and a PM
• Native mobile app for iOS and Android, respectively
