London Tech Week is one of the world’s leading events dedicated to technology and innovation – and this year, the Roweb team was once again in London for an intensive week of networking, inspiration, and partnerships.
About London Tech Week 2025
Organised at Olympia London – right in the heart of the city – London Tech Week (10–14 June 2025) brought together the entire international tech ecosystem: companies, startups, investors, governments, and thought leaders from around the world.
Structured around themed conferences, exhibitions, networking sessions, and top-tier presentations, the event offered an ideal platform to discover cutting-edge trends (quantum computing, AI, digital transformation) and to build valuable business connections.
Roweb’s objective at London Tech Week
Roweb regularly participates in international technology and business development events – and London Tech Week is one of our top priorities.
Our main goal was to connect directly with the global partnership ecosystem: companies seeking digital improvement, existing clients, and potential strategic partners.
This year, we attended together with our colleagues from Sirma – under the umbrella of the official “Romania IT” delegation supported by the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitalisation and the Romanian Government. It was an excellent opportunity to promote our services and the Roweb brand in the UK market.
Networking & key interactions
- Our exhibition booth enabled high-quality interactions with companies interested in digitalisation.
- We had the opportunity to meet face to face with some of our UK clients and strengthen existing relationships.
- We attended presentations and conferences on cutting-edge technology topics – including quantum computing, one of the industry’s emerging trends.
- Evening networking sessions and official parties completed the experience – helping us establish informal contacts and expand our network of collaborators.
A London connected to business and technology
Olympia London, the venue, is right in the city centre – which made everything conveniently concentrated in one place, with a remarkable pro-business atmosphere.
In our free time, we managed to explore a few of London’s iconic landmarks – London Bridge and Millennium Bridge – and enjoy fish & chips and a pint of Guinness in the most authentic local style.
Under the “Romania IT” brand
Our participation was part of a larger delegation organised under the “Romania IT” brand – an initiative of the Government of Romania. We had the pleasure of meeting Her Excellency, Mrs Laura Popescu, the Ambassador of Romania to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, with whom we discussed the Romanian community in the UK, business opportunities, and potential future collaborations.
We also opened discussions about organising, under the Embassy’s aegis, events dedicated to promoting Roweb’s services in the UK – an important step in our international expansion strategy.
