2025 has been a defining year for Roweb. It was a year in which long-term investments became visible, teams grew stronger, and our presence in the European tech ecosystem became more consistent and more confident. From international events, community involvement, to team milestones and employer recognition, the year was one of steady growth founded upon clarity and continuity.
Stronger Presence in the European Tech Ecosystem
Roweb was present in some of the most relevant tech and innovation events in Europe in 2025, thus consolidating our status as a long-standing software partner with an AI-first mindset.
We were present at Web Summit Lisbon 2025, where our team engaged in discussions around applied AI, scalable architectures, and real-world enterprise use cases. The interest around our approach confirmed something we see more often in client conversations: AI matters most when it is practical, integrated, and measurable.
Our participation at Commerce Innovation Summit 2025 and London Tech Week 2025 further strengthened this direction. In both contexts, the focus was on AI-driven personalization, data-led decision making, and how technology supports sustainable business growth rather than short-term trends.
MWC Barcelona 2025 was another important milestone, both through our on-site presence and through direct conversations with technology partners and companies exploring complex digital ecosystems. In 2025, Roweb’s work received increased attention from Romanian business and technology media. The most prominent coverage came from Forbes Romania with the article “A Romanian company develops the market-leading real estate software platform in Belgium”, highlighting our contribution to a leading solution in the Belgian real estate market. This was followed by coverage in Bursa through “Roweb develops in Romania a software platform widely used in Belgium’s real estate industry”.

Team Growth and a New Chapter for Roweb Craiova
2025 also marked a significant milestone for our Craiova team. What started years ago in a small apartment evolved into a modern corporate office, reflecting organic growth, team stability, and long-term commitment to the region.
The new Craiova office is not just a physical space. It represents continuity, trust, and the maturity of a team that has grown step by step, project by project. It is a tangible result of investing in people and allowing teams to scale naturally.
Recognition as an Employer and as a Technology Company
This year, Roweb is ranked by Undelucram.ro among the Top 25 IT&C Employers in Romania based on votes from our employees or ex-employees. For us this recognition is the most relevant, as it reflects internal reality rather than external perception.
In parallel, Roweb Development was awarded 1st place in the Research, Development & High-Tech category at the Top Companies in Argeș 2025. This distinction reinforces the technical depth of our work and our contribution to the local and regional technology landscape.
Community Involvement and Education
Beyond our day jobs, we continued supporting education and communities in 2025. Leaps in programming education, like high school programming contests, kept us close to the next generation of computer scientists and engineers.

Strengthening Team Culture Across Borders
One of the highlights from an internal perspective was definitely the team building trip we had together with our counterparts from Sirma Group in Bulgaria in November. Meeting the teams outside of the scope of project work, and building a closer collaboration, alignment and sense of direction was a great experience.
As part of Sirma Group, Roweb benefits from broader enterprise experience while maintaining the agility and culture built over more than 20 years.

A consistent theme throughout the year was team continuity. Most of the people who shaped our projects in previous years remained closely involved, preserving knowledge and working relationships.
