O’Mac
The initial project’s objective was to turn an online product catalog into a modern and responsive e-commerce website. At that moment (in 2015), we developed the website on a full-custom platform.
Once the business evolved, a refreshing project was needed, so we migrated the initial website to Magento1.
The O’Mac website, developed by our team, was awarded at GPeC in 2015 for the best e-commerce website from House, Garden & Tools category.

Upon taking over the project, we discovered the current version of Magento was hindering optimal operation and negatively impacting the user experience.
We encountered issues updating the platform due to the previous development team's changes to the Magento core code. Both the interface changes and the addition of new features were hard to make.
The website was hosted on a classical infrastructure (rented machines) with little support from the hosting company.

BookCity
Bookcity is a national bookstore chain with a high market presence (especially in the west of Romania). This business story started in 2011 with a physical bookstore in Brasov and then extended to other cities (Timisoara, Targu Mures, Galati).
The online environment was also explored as a sale strategy until 2020 by using a Magento 1 based webshop. Books mostly represent the store's products, but it also offers related products as gifts, stationery, and board games.
